Leicester open contract talks with Ndidi amid strong Man Utd interest

Leicester City have opened contract talks with Manchester United target Wilfried Ndidi.

United are assessing midfield options to bolster their ranks when the summer transfer window opens.

Ndidi has been a target for some time and Leicester are making moves to repel their Premier League rivals.

The Foxes are willing to offer the 25-year-old improved terms on his current deal, which expires in 2024.

He has made 25 appearances for the Foxes this season, scoring twice.

Arsenal and Aston Villa have also been linked with the Nigeria international in recent seasons.
