Brendan Rodgers admits Leicester City are unlikely to qualify for Europe next season.
The Foxes are currently in 11th position
"It might be too late for us this year in terms of finishing where we have in the last two seasons," Rodgers said in his post-match press conference. "But we are getting back to that level of performance and we can thrive again.
"Clearly the result is a little frustrating, we performed very well. We are disappointed, they had two shots on goal and some pressure from set-pieces.
"I said to the players, I've seen you win some games and play nowhere near that level. There was great fluidity in the team, movement, pressure, and creativity against a side who are having a good season.
"We're starting to progress through the team, we just needed that extra bit of quality against a five-man defence. We got to the box with some great football.
"It's disappointing to not get something, it's all about performing and gradually working our way back to our level."
