Leicester City will listen to offers for every member of their squad, following their relegation from the Premier League.
The Foxes’ relegation was confirmed on Sunday following a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at the King Power Stadium. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s goal condemned Leicester to a 16th defeat in 18 league games, leaving the club 18 points from safety with just 15 to play for.
Leicester’s miserable campaign and return to the Championship is set to lead to wholesale exits. The Telegraph are reporting that the Foxes will consider bids for every player in their squad, as the club look to rebuild and combat the financial blow of relegation.
Mads Hermansen is likely to receive significant interest with Chelsea and Manchester United having expressed previous interest in the Danish goalkeeper. The 24-year-old has been a rare positive in an otherwise troubled season for Leicester.
Bilal El Khannouss, who arrived from Genk for a fee of £19m, last summer, has also caught the eye in difficult circumstances. Arsenal and West Ham have tracked the progress of the 20-year-old, who has shown flashes of his clear potential.
There is also interest from Chelsea and Manchester City in Jeremy Monga. The 15-year-old became the second-youngest player in Premier League history earlier this month.
A decision first will be made on Ruud van Nistelrooy’s future. The Dutchman replaced Steve Cooper as head coach on December 1st but oversaw a torrid second half of the campaign. Leicester have taken just eight points from 20 games under Van Nistelrooy’s management.
