Brendan Rodgers is interested in bringing Crystal Palace midfielder Andros Townsend to Leicester this summer.
That’s according to The Mirror, who report that the Foxes are willing to pay as much as £14m for the 27-year-old’s services.
Townsend joined Palace from Newcastle in 2016 and has since scored 14 goals in 124 appearances for the Eagles, one of which was the 2018/19 Premier League goal of the season.
Andros Townsend's stunning volley against Manchester City is named @Carling Goal of the Season. 🚀🚀🚀–
The Tottenham academy graduate still has two years left to run on his Selhurst Park contract and Leicester boss Rodgers is said to have identified him as one of a number of players he is hoping to bring to the King Power Stadium this summer.
If Townsend does move to Leicester, they will become the 13th club he has represented in his career.
