Leicester City achieved the impossible and lifted the Premier League title in 2015/2016.
To many it remains the greatest feat in sporting history and rightly so.
Prior to the beginning of the season, the East Midlands club were 5000/1 with the bookies to seize the crown.
Yet going up against the might of Manchester City, Chelsea and the rest of the Premier League’s infamous ‘big six’ they got the job done.
The entire squad and management team were instantly immortalised the moment they lifted the coveted trophy above their heads.
So, with that in mind, we thought we’d take a look at what they’re all up to now.
The Danish stopper departed the Foxes in the summer after spending a very successful 11-year association.
He now plies his trade at Nice in the south of France, where we bet he’s enjoying the much-improved weather in epic fashion.
Right back: Danny Simpson
The Englishman stayed on with Leicester after the title victory until 2019, where he then departed to Championship side Huddersfield.
He later moved to Bristol City, but after spending time playing in their reserves, he had his contract mutually terminated and is now without a club.
Centre back: Wes Morgan
Leicester through-and-through, Morgan remained with the club all the way up until his retirement in 2021 after captaining them to victory in 2016.
Nowadays, the former Jamaican international is a key player in the Premier League Black Participants’ Advisory Group and also studies for a masters degree in sporting directorship.
His aim is to ‘break the mould’ for unrepresented groups across football club board rooms.
Centre-back: Robert Huth
The German, like Morgan, studies for a masters in sports directorship.
Left back: Christian Fuchs
What a player Fuchs was for Leicester back in 2016. The ultra-consistent Austrian never put a foot wrong that entire season.
He now plays for newly founded Charlotte FC in the United States as the club embark on their first season in MLS.
Right midfield: Riyad Mahrez
We all know what Mahrez is up to nowadays. The Algerian has gone from strength-to-strength under Pep Guardiola at Man City – even if should arguably get a bit more gametime than he’s currently granted.
Central midfield: Danny Drinkwater
Drinkwater was a star for the Foxes alongside Kante in the middle of the park.
Chelsea snapped him for the tune of £35 million 12 months after Leicester’s title victory, but his career would go downhill from that point.
Never really settling at Stamford Bridge, he was loaned out on numerous occasions before being released this summer.
Central midfield: N’Golo Kante
The main reason behind it all, it’s no surprise that Kante went onto achieve incredible success in the game after departing the Foxes.
With Chelsea he’s lifted the Premier League and the Champions League.
Whilst with his national team, the Frenchman has even managed to get his hands on the World Cup. What a player.
Left midfield: Marc Albrighton
Albrighton was used in every single one of Leicester games in the 2015/16 season, contributing an enormous amount to their on-pitch success.
Ever the loyal servant, he remains with the club to this very day.
Striker: Shinji Okazaki
The relentless workhorse that was Okazaki spent several years playing in Spain after leaving the Foxes.
Now he can be found playing for Belgian outfit Sint-Truidense V.V. alongside fellow Japanaese star Shinji Kagawa.
Striker: Jamie Vardy
And now for Mr. Leicester himself. The Englishman, who will turn 36 in January, has remained loyal to the Foxes despite regular murmurings of interest from more high-profile clubs over the years.
Like water is wet, Vardy was yet again their top scorer last season, bagging on 15 separate occasions in the league.
So, that’s the main XI of players – how about the rest of the squad?
