In the last fifteen matches between Albion and Leicester City, there has been just one home win when the Baggies beat the Foxes 3-0 at the Hawthorns on their way to promotion in 2010. Albion are yet to lose at City’s new stadium with their last defeat in Leicester coming at Filbert Street in January 1994 when a Iwan Roberts double helped the hosts to a 4-2 victory.

A later winner from Paul Raven saw the Baggies claim all three points in a 2-1 win on their last match at Filbert Street in April 1996 and, in they have won five and drawn three in their eight visits to the Walkers/King Power Stadium. Their first win at the new venue was in November 2009 when a quick fire double from Graham Dorrans and Gonzalo Jara (pictured) just behalf time secured a 2-1 victory.

Albion’s last win over Leicester was at the King Power in November 2016. Two goals shortly after half time Islam Slimani equalise James Morrison’s opener for the visitors but Matt Phillips scored a winner for Albion with just under 20 minutes left.

Roberto di Matteo’s team recorded the Baggies’ best win at the Foxes’ new home when they triumphed 4-1 in a fourth round League Cup tie in October 2010. Simon Cox scored twice while Somen Tchoyi and Steven Reid also found the net.

Albion’s biggest win at Filbert Street was in May 1977. Mick Martin scored a brace with David Cross, Laurie Cunningham and Tony Brown joining him on the scoresheet in a 5-0 victory.

City’s best win over Albion was also 5-0 in a Boxing Day fixture at Filbert Street in 1926 – on that occasion, their legendary record goalscorer, Arthur Chandler, scored all five of the hosts’ goals.
