Leicester City sign young French forward Mouchon | OneFootball

Leicester City have completed the signing of French forward Noémie Mouchon on a three-year deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Foxes this morning.

Mouchon joins Leicester City after leaving former club Stade de Reims earlier this summer. The 21-year-old joined Stade de Reims from Lille last year and she went on to net nine goals in 22 outings for The Ambitious Pioneers in the French Arkema Première Ligue.

On the international stage, Mouchon has represented France up to and including under-19 level. She will be hoping to push for senior honours with Les Bleues by impressing for her new club.

After joining Leicester City, Mouchon said “I’m super-happy to sign for Leicester City and I’m hoping to have a great season with the Club.

“This is a great Club that can develop players with potential. It goes without saying that the WSL is the most attractive league in Europe, if not the world. It’s a dream for most female footballers to play in England.”

Mouchon becomes Leicester City’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window. The Foxes have also added Asmita Ale, Chantelle Swaby, Sari Kees and Ruby Mace to their squad in the close season.
