The 25-year-old made 34 appearances for FC Fleury 91 in the Arkema Première Ligue while she scored one goal for the French club. Swaby has also turned out for Sky Blue FC and Glasgow Rangers in her senior career to date.

On the international stage, Swaby has been capped by Jamaica on 38 occasions. She was a member of the team that battled bravely at last summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

After completing her move to Leicester City, Swaby said “It feels great to have signed for Leicester City. I know this will be a really good experience and a great challenge for me and I’m really excited.

“Playing as the home team at King Power Stadium will be a whole different experience and I’m really looking forward to getting started with my team-mates and meet the supporters.”

Swaby becomes Leicester City’s second signing of the summer transfer window.
