After signing from GFC Ajaccio in January 2018 for €2m, Fousseni Diabaté made quite the impression by appearing in 17 games in the second half of the season.

However, the 23-year-old has only made two appearances for Leicester since, and now he’s off on his second successive loan spell after spending the second half of last season at Turkish outfit Sivasspor.

On Wednesday, Amiens announced that they have taken him on a season-long loan.

Diabaté is under contract with the Foxes until 2022 and the loan does not include an option to buy at the end of the season.

The Mali U-23 international could make his debut next Friday when they host Lyon.
