Scorers: Schlotterbeck 10'
Leicester City suffered another pre-season defeat ahead of their Premier League return as they were beaten by FC Augsburg at Illerstadion.
Steve Cooper's side fell behind after just ten minutes when Keven Schlotterbeck nodded home from a corner, but grew into the first half and dominated the ball, finishing the half with nine efforts including 2 on target.
Steve Mounie went close after the break in an attempt to double the German side's lead, and it was Augsburg who were the more threatening during a turgid second half peppered with changes for both sides.
Those changes meant that neither side could put together any real momentum, and the solitary early goal ultimately proved decisive in condemning Steve Cooper's side to another loss.
