Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu has been offered to Inter on a free transfer for next summer transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 26-year-old’s representatives have contacted the Nerazzurri regarding the possibility of joining when his contract with the Foxes runs out at the end of June 2023.

Soyuncu’s current contract with Leicester only runs until the end of the current season.

The Turkish international could leave the Premier League outfit on a free transfer when his deal expires.

The player’s representatives are looking around for his future, with the Nerazzurri one of the clubs they have contacted to propose the possibility of a transfer for next season.

Inter would be interested in bringing Soyuncu in, but only depending on what happens with other defenders already in the squad.

Stefan de Vrij’s contract runs out at the end of June 2023, whilst Francesco Acerbi is currently on loan from Lazio.

The Nerazzurri are working to extend de Vrij’s deal and to make Acerbi’s loan move permanent, but in the event that they fail to keep hold of either of the two, they would be receptive to the possibility of signing Soyuncu as a replacement.
