The Mirror report that Leicester City and Arsenal are both showing interest in Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma ahead of the summer, with Mikel Arteta hoping to pair Bissouma with Thomas Partey next season.

Bissouma is also reportedly a boyhood Arsenal fan, adding to the speculation he would welcome a move. The 24-year-old has a contract with two seasons left on it this summer.

Back in December, Jonathan Shrager reported that Michael N’Cho confirmed to him there was ‘significant’ interest in Yves Bissouma ahead of the January transfer window, with Manchester United and Liverpool joining Arsenal among the Premier League teams after him.

For the time being, however, the focus is more on Arsenal and Leicester City. TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook previously claimed Mikel Arteta likes the Brighton midfielder, calling him a ‘big fan’.

Bissouma signed for Brighton in the summer of 2018, moving from Lille for £15.21m. He’s made 30 appearances and scored a couple of goals this season.
