Leicester and Dortmund battling for Barcelona starlet Kike Saverio

There’s little doubt that Barcelona are one of the best clubs in the world at producing young talent from their famed La Masia academy.

So when one of their young starlets is about to be out of contract, more often than not some of the other bigger clubs in the world take notice.

This is the case with 20-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder Kike Saverio, who has starred with the Barcelona ‘B’ side for the last two years.

According to Sport, both Leicester City and Borussia Dortmund are keen to get their hands on the talented performer, who was set to sign a new deal with the Blaugrana but talks have since broken down.

It’s believed the Foxes are currently favoured to land Kike, who holds citizenship in Ecuador, Italy, and Spain.
