Sunday’s Polish Ekstraklasa clash between Legia Warsaw and Cracovia produced one of the funniest VAR calls to date.

Legia defender William Rémy was booked for a foul in the 67th minute with his team trailing 2-0 at home.

Seven minutes later, he was shown a second yellow for a nasty stamp on an opponent and sent for an early bath.

But after consulting with the VAR, the referee called the Frenchman back out onto the pitch and he must have assumed his second booking was going to be rescinded.

Nope, his second yellow was actually upgraded to a straight red card and he will now be banned for three matches.

Big Brother is watching you, and there’s nowhere to hide.
