Leeds United’s Mateusz Klich set to join DC United | OneFootball

Foot Mercato are reporting that Leeds United’s Polish midfielder Mateusz Klich (32) is set to join Major League Soccer side DC United.

Klich, whose current contract with the Premier League side runs until June 2024, is set to cross the Atlantic and join American side DC United, currently managed by former Derby County manager Wayne Rooney.

Since joining Leeds from FC Twente in 2017, Polish international Klich has been a regular starter. He was an ever-present in the club’s promotion push and has since helped Leeds remain in the top flight for the past two seasons. Despite making 18 appearances so far this season, Klich has nonetheless found match starts hard to come by. He has now started any Premier League matches this season, with his only two starts coming in the EFL Cup.
