Leeds United mark their return to the Premier League on Monday night with a hugely anticipated clash against Everton at a sold-out Elland Road.
Daniel Farke’s side will be determined to make a strong start and prove they belong back in the top flight. There will be a focus on Dominic Calvert-Lewin, as the striker potentially makes his Leeds debut against the club he left this summer.
Daniel Farke is expected to name an attacking lineup for his side’s Premier League return. The main talking point surrounds Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who could lead the line against his former club.
In midfield, Japan international Ao Tanaka looks set to play a pivotal role this season. Having arrived from Fortuna Düsseldorf last summer, he was named Leeds’ Player of the Season during their promotion campaign. He is expected to form a midfield partnership with summer signing Anton Stach.
At the back, Farke’s options are limited by injuries to Jayden Bogle and Sebastiaan Bornauw. Summer signing Jaka Bijol is suspended.
Leeds United predicted XI: Perri; Byram, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Tanaka, Ampadu, Stach; James, Piroe, Gnonto
