Plans for next season are underway at Leeds United, who are planning a summer move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Jesé.

Although Marcelo Bielsa is yet to confirm his future at Elland Road, early indications are that he will remain in Yorkshire next season.

His side heartbreakingly missed out on a play-off final date with Aston Villa after succumbing to a late defeat against Derby County.

In a bid to go one better next season, they are eyeing a move for PSG forward Jesé, according to Estadio Deportivo.

The Seville-based newspaper confirmed Leeds’ interest in the 26-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan in that city with Real Betis.

He made nine LaLiga starts on his return to his homeland and scored twice, with it appearing extremely unlikely that he will return.

The report indicates that Leeds have now emerged as serious contenders for his services, having been beaten to his signature in January by Betis.

Jesé is likely to be moved on again this summer by PSG as he does not feature in their plans going forward but has two years remaining on his deal.

The ex-Real Madrid man does have previous experience of English football, having spent the 2017/18 campaign at Stoke City.
