But with the Lilywhites' impressive campaign has come interest in some of their star players, with Archie Gray linked with a move away from Elland Road, along with top scorer, Crysencio Summerville, with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham all linked with a move for the 22-year-old.

And while full focus will remain on securing a place in the automatic promotion places as the season comes to an exciting conclusion, planning will be underway for the summer for the possibility of losing some of their star players.

Should Leeds agree a deal to sell Summerville in the summer, they could be ready to explore a potential deal for Club Brugge winger, Andreas Skov Olsen.

When searching for potential forward options for Leeds to potentially visit in the summer, Skov Olsen is the most similar to Summerville when comparing his stats this season, according to FbRef.

Having started his career at local club, ASGI, from Alsønderup, he would join FC Nordsjælland's academy and impress within the youth team set-up and was subsequently called up to Denmark's U21's side, making his debut in 2017.

Skov Olsen would officially join the first-team squad the following year, and would enjoy a prolific campaign in front of goal, scoring 26 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions, with his performances attracting the interest of several European clubs.

After two seasons in the Danish Superliga, he would complete a move to Serie A side, Bologna, but the winger would struggle to adapt to life in Italy, scoring just three times in 71 appearances, which resulted in a move back to Europe.

In the January transfer window in 2022, it was confirmed that he had made the permanent switch to Belgian side, Club Brugge, signing a four-year contract.

Skov Olsen would rediscover that goal-scoring touch that saw him seal a move to Italy, scoring nine times and providing seven assists with Blauw Zwart.

That injection of confidence has seemingly transpired in the current campaign as the 24-year-old has once again impressed in the Belgian Pro League. The Danish international has already surpassed 30 goal involvements this term, while also helping his side reach the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League, with the potential of facing Aston Villa in the final.

The pair are relatively similar in the way in which they finish chances in and around the box, but the Danish international is quite different in terms of his body type when compared to Summerville, standing at over six-feet tall while also being predominantly left-footed, featuring mainly on the right-hand side and looking to cut inside to shoot.

FbRef's findings also place PSV Eindhoven's Hirving Lozana and Sunderland star Jack Clarke as the players most similar to Summerville, along with Skov Olsen.

While Skov Olsen's ability to adapt to new surroundings during his time at Italy may cause concerns for Leeds, he has proved that with maturity he has significantly improved his game and could be ready to make the switch to England should a move materialise.

But that decision will need to be under some careful consideration, with the Lilywhites boasting a plethora of attacking talent within their side, with the likes of Jaidon Anthony and Joe Gelhardt struggling to obtain regular first-team minutes.

Farke will insist that full focus remains on the pitch until the end of the season, and he will be hoping Summerville can help fire his side to a return to the Premier League, although if Leeds are unsuccessful in their attempts to reach the top flight, Skov Olsen may well be playing there anyway next term.

It was reportedlinked with a move for the 24-year-old last season.
