Leeds and West Brom are interested in signing Daryl Dike before the transfer window closes, according to TEAMtalk’s James Marshment.
Dike made his mark in England last season, joining Barnsley on loan from Orlando City in the second half of the campaign.
The 21-year-old spearheaded the Tykes towards a top-six finish, scoring nine goals in 19 Championship outings for the club.
Barnsley were unable to afford the fee it would have took to sign Dike permanently, and he’s now back at Orlando being monitored by English sides.

Valerien Ismael is keen to reunite with Dike at West Brom, TEAMtalk’s Marshment claims, as the Frenchman looks to add a powerful centre-forward to his squad.
But Marshment also claims that Leeds are exploring the possibility of signing Dike on loan before the transfer window closes.
Patrick Bamford has recently put pen to paper on a new deal at Elland Road, but Marcelo Bielsa is seemingly keen to bolster his attacking options and add more depth to his squad going forward.
The Verdict
It’d be strange to see Dike rock up at West Brom if Leeds are interested to be honest.
The Whites can obviously offer Premier League football, and Dike would be appealed to that given how he did in the Championship last season.
On the contrary, if he signed for Albion then he would be the main man at the Hawthorns, rather than be second-choice to Bamford at Elland Road.
It’s one he will have to consider, and given his relationship with Ismael, that could work out to be beneficial for the Baggies.
