Dele Alli and Harry Winks are not devaluing assets for Tottenham as “everyone knows” the “immense quality” they possess.

That is the view of former Spurs and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Jamie Redknapp’s worrying claim about the pair.

Speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday, Redknapp revealed chairman Daniel Levy will be concerned about Winks’ and Alli’s lack of game time this season, as it is seeing their transfer values diminish.

The midfielders have been frozen out by Jose Mourinho this season and have both fallen out of the England squad as a result.

Robinson is adamant both Alli and Winks are capable of playing for top-six sides in England and revealed he “would love” to see the latter sign for Leeds United.

“I do not think their transfer values will be diminishing,” he told Football Insider.

“They are top international footballers who have proven time and time again that they can perform at the highest level. Yes, they are not playing at the moment but everyone knows their immense quality.

“I do not think they values will be dropping so I do not think Daniel Levy will be overly concerned by that.

“I would love to see Harry Winks in a Leeds United shirt next season. I think he would be a great signing for them because he gets into any top-six team, as does Dele Alli.

“Both have been a victim of circumstance and a manager’s personal opinion.

“If two years down the line they are still there and not playing, we have a problem. But right now, I am not sure their values are diminishing too much.”
