Leeds United striker Rodrigo Moreno is happy for former teammate Raphinha over his success with Barcelona.

Raphinha has made an instat impact with Barca after his summer arrival from Elland Road.

Rodrigo told AS: "A great success by Barcelona. Raphinha already looked good in pre-season with them, that helps. He is a very characteristic Barça player: aggressive winger, fast, with a very high physical capacity... I think he will do well. I am very happy for him.

"Without hesitation I say he can be a player who makes a difference in this new Barcelona. I will be supporting him from a distance, because I have a very good relationship with him."

Asked if he has considered returning to the LaLiga, Rodrigo said: "The truth is, no. I'm happy at Leeds, in the Premier, in the city. There is an interesting project, last year we had difficulties, but it was due to different circumstances... I want to continue growing here.

"Yes, I feel totally adapted. In the day to day of my life, I am happy with the experience in the city of Leeds. Professionally, the Premier is a supercompetitive league and every year, more. I arrived three years ago and every time I notice that it is making important differences with respect to the other leagues. It was always physical, but the level of quality has risen a lot. The pace of the game is very high. Everyone who arrives finds it difficult to adapt to that and I feel that I already am."
