Leeds sign Man City youngster Ian Poveda

Leeds have confirmed the signing of Manchester City youngster Ian Poveda on a four-year deal.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been on the hunt for a new striker since the departure of Eddie Nketiah, and have found it in the 19-year-old who has put pen-to-paper this evening.

A statement on their official website read: “Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of Ian Poveda from Premier League champions Manchester City.

“The 19-year-old joins the Whites in a permanent deal and has penned a contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2024.”
