Imagine him and Raphinha

Victor Orta must ensure that he lands Boga for Leeds this summer in what could be a dream £26m deal for the Whites. The attacker could be a fantastic addition to the squad and offer Marcelo Bielsa another exciting option to utilise in the final third of the pitch, which is why Orta must press on and secure an agreement with Sassuolo.

He would also come in with the experience of playing in England. He spent nine years at Chelsea in their youth team, making one senior appearance in the Premier League for the Blues. In that time, he featured for the under-18’s, the under-19’s and the under-23’s, before eventually moving on permanently to Sassuolo in 2018.

Boga’s former youth coach at Stamford Bridge, Michael Beale, once hailed him as a unique talent, saying: “The most unique talent and I’m talking in a window of being 13/14 and he just beat the other team possibly on his own is a young boy called Jeremie Boga.

“He just beat teams on his own, such a lovely boy. I thought wow, this boy is a supreme talent. he can stop and go and over three or four yards, he can just drift past you.”

Imagine Boga and Raphinha bossing the wings for Leeds in the Premier League. The Frenchman has produced 15 goals and four assists in the past two Serie A campaigns, whilst the Whites forward managed six goals and nine assists in England last term.

Having those two on either flank could, therefore, terrify opposition fullbacks and provide Patrick Bamford with ample supply to get goal for himself. This is why Orta must get a deal done to bolster Bielsa’s squad with the addition of the former Chelsea youth product.
