Leeds United are still heavily linked to Beşiktaş and Canada international striker Cyle Larin and are now reportedly ready to make a bid.

According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Leeds will offer the Süper Lig side £5.2m (€6m) for the 24-year-old in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Larin, a former Major League Soccer star with Orlando City, has been on loan with Belgium outlet Zulte Waregem this season and has been spectacular, putting up nine goals and 11 assists in 33 games in all competitions.

It was originally believed that Zulte Waregem would activate their £2.1m (€2.5m) purchase option at the end of the season to make a quick profit this summer.

However, due to the coronavirus impact on the club’s finances, they are currently unable to afford the player, meaning Beşiktaş now stand to make a healthy profit on the player they paid €2m for back in 2018.
