Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips was pleased with victory at Everton.

An end-to-end contest at Goodison Park was settled by Brazilian attacker Raphinha's 79th-minute strike.

Phillips said, “We're just happy to come out on the pitch and give it our all for 90 minutes, or 90 plus, and of course we're happy to take away the three points.

“I'm pleased when we win, but it's all about the team, if the team don't play well, I don't play well.

“It comes down to individual efforts but collectively as a team, the manager is on about that every week.

“We don't have one really good individual player, we're a team and we work hard as a team, I am not taking any credit.

“That's nice [England coach Gareth Southgate was watching], I put in a good performance and need to keep working hard, keep playing like I have tonight and keep progressing."
