Leeds fans 'would be really excited' about £18m 'world-beater' at Elland Road
Traore’s future is currently unclear, and he has been linked with a move to the Yorkshire outfit in recent days.
What’s the latest news involving Traore?
The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Barcelona, but the Catalan giants were unable to afford to sign him permanently at the end of the campaign.
He has now returned to his parent club Wolves, but he has just a year left on his contract at Molineux. Wolves could be open to selling him this summer to avoid losing him for nothing in 2023.
It has been revealed by Football Insider that Leeds have made an approach for the Spanish international, who Wolves value at around £18m.
What has O’Rourke said about Traore potentially joining Leeds?
O’Rourke has admitted that Traore has had his problems with delivering the goods on a weekly basis during his time in the Premier League.
However, he believes the forward has talent in abundance, and has tipped him to be an excellent addition to the Leeds squad, should he move to Jesse Marsch’s side.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, O’Rourke said: “I think the fans will be really excited about Traore. We all know he’s a bit inconsistent, Traore, but on his day he can be a world-beater. He gets fans off their seats with his direct style, and his fast, attacking style of football that he does play. I think if Leeds can get the best out of Traore, he could be a great signing.”

Would Traore be a suitable replacement for Raphinha at Leeds?
Leeds could be set to lose Raphinha this summer as the Brazilian has been attracting attention from some of the top clubs in Europe.
The Athletic have reported that Arsenal recently made a formal offer for him, while Barcelona, Chelsea and Tottenham are also keen on the winger.
If Raphinha does leave, he will need to be replaced, and Traore could be the man to succeed him.
Raphinha’s end product is better than Traore’s right now, and he would be missed if he decided to move on from Leeds.
Yet Traore has so much potential – he just needs everything to click all at once. At 26, he ought to be reaching his peak, and if he can start to get his final ball right more often than not, Leeds could have an excellent footballer on their hands.
