Leeds boss Bielsa highlights Struijk and Rodrigo for victory over Spurs | OneFootball

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa was delighted with Pascal Struijk and Rodrigo Moreno in victory over Tottenham on Saturday.

Struijk was outstanding at the back for Leeds.

Bielsa said, "Today was a very difficult match for Llorente, Pascal and Koch. Pascal had a performance without errors, Llorente the same. Very solid to defend and secure in the management. Robin was one of the bright lights of the game. He defended well. The three of them, with the two full-backs, had the task of neutralising a sector where Tottenham had their best players."

Bielsa was also pleased to see Rodrigo get on the scoresheet.

He continued: "Rodrigo is a vital player for us. The obligation for all of us who are part of this group is to manage to get him to be able to do everything he is capable of doing. After the time he spent without playing, he played half an hour against Brighton, 45 minutes with the under-23s and he came on in the game today and after each appearance, he has played better than he did in the previous game.

"So it's important that we see the richness that he has football-wise. He's a player who has the solutions to a game without anyone indicating them to him."
