England U21 boss Lee Carsley will take charge of the upcoming September internationals, the FA have confirmed, as they continue to hunt for a new manager in the wake of Gareth Southgate's departure.

The Three Lions face Nations League games against the Republic of Ireland and Finland next month, and remain without a permanent manager after Southgate stepped down following their EURO 2024 final defeat to Spain.
