Lazio will be looking to put their humiliating defeat to Inter Milan behind them and return from Lecce with three points in the bag.
The Serie A clash takes place at the Via del Mare Stadium on Saturday, 20:45 local time.
Marco Giampaolo will be without the injured Kiolanda Gaspar and the suspended Andy Pelmard, so he’s expected to maintain the same starting lineup that beat Monza by two goals to one last weekend. Therefore, Nikola Krstovic should spearhead Lecce’s charge, flanked by Santiago Pierotti and Tete Morente.
In the middle of the park, the young Medon Berisha could once again get the nod in the Regista role at the expense of his Albanian compatriot Ylber Ramadani. Lassana Coulibaly and Hamza Rafia should take the box-to-box slots, while Patrick Dorgu will remain in his original left-back role with Antonino Gallo out of action.
Lecce (4-3-3) : Falcone; Guilbert, Baschirotto, Jean, Dorgu; Coulibaly, Berisha, Rafia; Pierotti, Krstovic; Tete Morente.
The Biancocelesti received bad news recently, as Matias Vecino is now expected to remain on the sidelines for another two months due to an injury relapse. However, Marco Baroni should have Alessio Romagnoli back in the squad, while Mario Gila and Samuel Gigot should overcome the health scares they suffered against Inter, as they appear to be the favorites to start this weekend.
Nuno Tavares and Manuel Lazzari will occupy the full-back slots, while Matteo Guendouzi and Nicolo Rovella form the usual double pivot. Taty Castellanos returns to lead the line after serving a one-match ban, while Boulaye Dia’s ankle has seemingly healed, so he should start behind the Argentine, while Gustav Isaksen and Mattia Zaccagni take the wings.
Lazio (4-2-3-1) : Provedel; Lazzari, Gila, Gigot, Tavares; Guendouzi, Rovella; Isaksen, Dia, Zaccagni; Castellanos.
