Lecce have agreed the sale of Brazilian winger Gabriel Strefezza to Serie B side Como, where he will work with coach Cesc Fabregas.
Multiple sources are confident the deal is done and Strefezza should have his medical on Monday, after one final appearance in the Lecce jersey.
The cost of the operation should be circa €5m, representing a big profit, as he cost just €500,000 to buy.
The 26-year-old is under contract until June 2025, with an option to extend for one more season, and arrived from SPAL in the summer of 2021.
Strefezza made 21 appearances for Lecce this season between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, scoring two goals.
Como are challenging for promotion from Serie B and currently sit in second place, six points behind leaders Parma.
Their interim coach is legend Fabregas, who retired as a player over the summer of 2023 after an experience in the Como squad.
He was the coach of their youth team before being promoted to the main job in December.
