Manchester United directors were in Milan on Tuesday to discuss deals with Napoli and Lecce for Alejandro Garnacho and Patrick Dorgu, but the Premier League side have seen their opening offer turned down for the young Denmark international according to Wednesday’s reports.
As well as negotiating a possible sale of Garnacho to Napoli this transfer window, United are also looking to sign his potential replacement in Dorgu from Lecce.
According to reports from various outlets including Sky Sport Italia, United have seen their opening offer for the 20-year-old turned down as Lecce expect a higher fee to sell him in January.

There are some conflicting reports on the amount that United offered, as Sky claim it was around €30m plus €5m in bonuses, while Fabrizio Romano suggests that it was a base offer of €27m before bonuses.
According to Sky, Lecce are expecting United to return with an improved offer, and are adamant that they will not sell in January until their demands are met. There has also been reported interest in Dorgu from Napoli, who had sounded him out for a move in the summer transfer window.
