Lecce have reportedly reached an agreement with Portuguese side Esretla Amadora to sign full-back Danilo Veiga on a permanent transfer, as Manchester United consider submitting another bid to sign Patrick Dorgu from the Salentini.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Lecce now have an agreement in place with Estrela Amadora to sign Veiga for an upfront fee of €1m, plus €500,000 in bonuses and add-ons.
Marco Giampaolo’s side have also been in talks with SPFL side Hearts over a potential deal for full-back Daniel Oyegoke.
It has been suggested that both players are considered as potential replacements for Dorgu, who has been linked with a big-money move to Manchester United in the January transfer window.
United’s latest offer stands at around €34m, but Lecce remain adamant that they will need a fee in the region of €40m to let the recent Denmark international leave in January.
Reports on Sunday suggest that Manchester United are currently weighing up whether or not to come back in with another offer for the versatile 20-year-old.
