Rafael Leao has had an explosive start to 2022 and he will certainly be a key player for AC Milan in their games against Juventus and Inter. The former clash, as we know, is scheduled for tomorrow evening.

In the four games Milan have played this year, Leao has amassed three goals and two assists. That’s almost as much as he had registered prior to these games (five and three), which says a lot about his recent form.

Speaking to Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, Leao spoke about the importance of the games and also sent a warning to Juventus and Inter. He’s ready for the games, in other words.

“Two very important matches but not decisive, the season is long. With Juve it will be difficult, it’s a great team back to scoring points. We need to take advantage of playing at home, our fans charge us even if there will only be five thousand there.

“We need to start winning again, we are ready, we know we are worthy. How am I preparing? I’m trying to understand how I can hurt the opponent based on their characteristics. But I will also let myself be guided by instinct: I dribble, I have been doing it since I was little, it comes naturally to me.”
