Newcastle United fans are going to be back watching their team at St James’ Park again tomorrow night and that also means of course, yet another excellent display from Wor Flags to look forward to.
It will have been 23 days between home games, thanks to yet another international break and Sky Sports shifting us to the dreaded Monday night slot.
That superb win over Arsenal on Saturday 2 November swiftly followed the equally enjoyable 2-0 cup victory over Chelsea.
We reported (see below) last time on Wor Flags making a special appeal to Newcastle United fans.
If you look below you will find details regarding how to financially contribute to the magnificent Wor Flags displays, as well as a special display appeal in tribute to a very special person, the one and only Kevin Keegan.
Now Wor Flags have made another special appeal to Newcastle United fans, ahead of this West Ham match on Monday night.
Wor Flags via their social media putting out this message…
‘Seen as it’s already leaked:
On Monday, our display is a tribute to our number 14 (so long as Storm Bert doesn’t blow it away).
Leazes End please get to your seats early to make sure the display will be seen in full.
Don’t worry, there’s more to see that won’t be leaked…’
It looks like it is going to be a classic (as you can see from this image they have released below), with the help of those fans in the Leazes End…
The dedication of those at Wor Flags is incredible.
The number of hours they put in, ahead of every home match, is inspirational.
So if you can contribute anything to help towards funding the displays, then for sure they have earned that support.
As you can see in their BlueSky post from early on Sunday morning, the work never stops to put on these class Wor Flags displays.

The Mag report – 18 November 2024:
The departure of Mike Ashley meant the return of Wor Flags to matches, as they ended their boycott.
The pre-match flag displays once again becoming part of the matchday routine.
Ahead of the first home match of the 2022/23 season, Wor Flags invited all fans to consider helping them with future flag displays by setting up a regular monthly donation to assist in funding them. See below how to get involved.
A couple of weeks ago, Wor Flags asked Newcastle United fans to keep on doing their bit to help them, especially with their latest initiative.
Wor Flags message via their social media – 6 November 2024:
Alongside a photo of Kevin Keegan, the message:
‘We have got something big planned! Please help us do it justice by making a donation:’

Now Wor Flags have renewed their appeal for help with this special KK display:
The Wor Flags ‘goal’ explained:
‘Our Goal
Wor Flags goal is straightforward – to create displays at St James’ Park that are worthy of this great club. We will achieve this in the following ways:
Hundreds of black and white hand-held waver flags
Larger custom design one and two poler waver flags
Large text banners featuring messages of support
Foils, surfers and custom tifos’
On behalf of everybody who visits The Mag, we signed up in summer 2022 to make a modest regular monthly donation to help fund Wor Flags and that is ongoing.
