Manchester City are set to release a brand new fourth kit for the ongoing 2023/24 season, according to the latest information from industry insiders.

City’s latest shirt release will follow on from another collection of hugely popular releases this season, with the club’s home shirt paying homage to the anniversary of their switch to the Etihad Stadium from the iconic Maine Road.

The club’s white and maroon away shirt is inspired by the industry of Manchester, while the retro look of the shirt draws inspiration from archival weave patterns. The club’s third kit – featuring lighting patterns – is inspired by the ‘electric style of play’ of the club.

However, Manchester City fans will have the opportunity to purchase yet another shirt from the club’s manufacturers PUMA in the coming weeks, with the club set to drop a surprising fourth shirt for the business end of the season.

According to the exclusive information of Footy Headlines, Manchester City will have a fourth kit for the ongoing 2023/24 season, which is expected to be released in late March/early April.

It is further revealed that Manchester City’s new fourth shirt has a main colour of black, combined with ‘multi-coloured graphics’ to create a ‘unique look’, with Footy Headlines creating a mock-up to showcase the combined colours.

Elements of Manchester City’s kit range for the upcoming 2024/25 season have already began to emerge throughout social media in recent weeks, while an interview with music legend Noel Gallagher revealed insight into next season’s third shirt.

The former Oasis icon revealed in a recent radio interview, “I can’t say much, but it’s a Definitely Maybe-inspired third kit and it’s far-out.”

He continued, “I’ve seen it, I designed it. It’s got a massive picture of my head on all the tops! No, it’s great. It’s been a real honour to do it for the 30th anniversary.”
