League One manager discusses possible 2020/21 reunion with Tottenham man

Portsmouth manager Danny Cowley says he would be keen to re-sign midfielder Harvey White on loan from Tottenham this summer.

White spent the second half of last season on loan at Fratton Park from Spurs, impressing during his time on the south coast.

The 19-year-old made 22 appearances in all competitions for Pompey, scoring once, as the club missed out on a place in the League One play-offs on the final day of the season.

Now it seems as though Cowley would be keen to bring White back for next season, but is aware of the fact that getting such a deal done may not be easy.

Speaking about the prospect of a reunion with White for next season, Cowley was quoted by The Portsmouth News as saying: “Harvey, we love Harvey. He’s a great player and a great kid. We loved working with him. He’s on an upward curve and will get better and better.
