France's reputation as the crème de la crème of youth development is well deserved, as the latest crop of youngsters to break into Ligue 1 Uber Eats proves. Take a look at the youngest players to have shone in Ligue 1 Uber Eats so far this season.

After 12 rounds, only one player born in 2007 has made it onto a team sheet this season: LOSC's Ayyoub Bouaddi. The young Lille player born on 2 October 2007 played his first 23 minutes in Ligue 1 Uber Eats against Stade Brestois (1-0, Round 9), before going on to make three appearances for Fonseca's Dogues.

Kroupi beats WZE to the punch!

The two youngest prodigies to have had game time this season are still waiting for their first start. That is no longer the case for Eli Junior Kroupi who,  after making his first appearance last season's R38 (7 minutes), was in Régis Le Bris' Ligue 1 Uber Eats XI for the first time in R5 of the current campaign. This makes the Merlu striker the youngest player to do so in 2023-24. He is ahead of Warren Zaïre-Emery - who has just been called up to Les Bleus for the first time by Didier Deschamps and who, with PSG, was the first one to earn the title youngest starter of the season, when they took on Lorient i=on the opening day of the season.

With three goals to his name, the Lorient striker is also the youngest scorer in Ligue 1 Uber Eats this season, once again pipping Paris midfielder Zaïre-Emery, who scored twice last season. Among the young scorers, Marseille's Emran Soglo (fourth) has the distinction of having scored in his Ligue 1 Uber Eats debut.
