Pressure is mounting on Didier Digard as Le Havre AC travel to face Stade Rennais on Friday night, and the manager will be without a key defender for the counter.

Captain Arouna Sangante will miss out on the fixture, as he did against Olympique Lyonnais last week, after suffering an adductor injury. In his absence, it will be Abdoulaye Touré who will wear the armband, just as he did against Lyon. Sangante’s absence is a blow for Les Ciel et Marines, who are looking to turn a corner after losing five on the bounce. It is a poor run of form that leaves HAC in the relegation play-off spot. Antoine Joujou also misses out through injury.

However, having made his return to the club on a free transfer, André Ayew is set to lead the line for Le Havre against Rennes.
