Serie A giants Juventus seemed keen on landing Lazio’s Felipe Anderson but it seems as if they have missed out on the Brazilian’s signature.
While it was reported that the winger was close to joining Juve after an offer was presented by the Bianconeri, Brazilian side Palmeiras have already sealed the deal for him and have announced the move on social media as well and that has dealt a blow to Juve’s plans.
Anderson, in his Palmeiras announcement on Instagram, stated that he could not find an agreement over a new deal with Lazio recently but he has always been a thorough professional for the club. He also promised that he will honour his contract at the Roman club, with his deal with the Brazilian side set to run out in the December of 2027.
The 31-year-old has scored five goals this season, assisting six times and has been one of the club’s most impressive players in a frustrating campaign.
