Sergej Milinković-Savić was once again linked with a move away from Lazio last summer. But with the club president Claudio Lotito demanding a massive fee in return for the midfielder’s services, the Serbia international ended up staying put at the Rome-based club.

According to the latest report from Daniele Longo, Lotito doesn’t want to lose one of the league’s best midfielders and is thus desperate to extend Milinković-Savić’s contract until June 2026.

On the contrary, Paris Saint-Germain have been keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation for some time now. While Sergej Milinković-Savić has never been desperate about leaving Lazio, the report understands that he might consider joining Juventus in the next summer transfer window.

Juventus were one of the clubs linked with a move for the 27-year-old in the last summer transfer window. The Bianconeri management would reportedly try to include a player in a potential deal for Milinković-Savić next summer. As things stand, the midfield maestro has a contract at the Italian side until June 2024. If Lazio fails to agree on a contract renewal for the player before the expiration, he will leave the club for free.
