Lazio management are still putting their trust in Maurizio Sarri to turn around the dip in form this season and get things going in the right direction.
According to a report by Marco Demicheli, Lazio are not considering replacing manager Maurizio Sarri despite the club losing six from the first 13 Serie A games.
“We need a change now or heads will roll very soon” were the words of club president Claudio Lotito as he was very clear about his position when asked about the Biancocelesti’s enduring start to the new season. The capital side could secure qualification to the Round of 16 of the Champions League with a win tonight against Celtic and this might be Sarri’s final chance to save his job.
The 64-year-old has communicated to the players that he will not be abandoning the ship in this grave position and will fight with the squad to change things.
Pressure was piled onto Lazio when they lost their last league fixture against Salernitana as the rock-bottom side won their first match of the season.
