Lazio President Claudio Lotito has given a clear deadline to Daichi Kamada as the Japan midfielder tries to decide his future.
The 27-year-old has not had an easy season in the Italian capital since arriving on a Free Transfer last Summer, initially struggling to break into Maurizio Sarri’s squad, leaving him unhappy on the bench. Things have started to improve since Igor Tudor’s arrival, however.

When Kamada signed for Lazio last summer, he agreed to a one-year contract with an option for a further three years, held by the player. Considering his campaign, it’s looked likely that he’ll leave on a free transfer in the summer, ending a brief and tough one-year spell in Rome.
As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lotito has given a clear deadline to Kamada to make a decision regarding his Lazio future, wanting a response by 15th May.
Since the arrival of Tudor, the 27-year-old Japan midfielder has started to reconsider his future – despite the interest of Crystal Palace, Borussia Monchengladbach, Napoli, Juventus, Atalanta, and former club Eintracht Frankfurt – and could be open to a one-year extension.
