Lazio are reportedly in advanced talks with Salernitana as they look to complete the transfer of Loum Tchaouna as soon as possible.

The Biancoceselti are set to ring the changes this summer to present Igor Tudor with a squad capable of interpreting his football philosophy. Moreover, Felipe Anderson will leave the club after agreeing to join Palmeiras on a free transfer, leaving a major hole in the wingers’ department.

So according to Il Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the Italian capital side is looking to finalize Tchaouna’s transfer sooner rather than later. The source expects Lazio Sporting Director Angelo Fabiani to hold talks with Salernitana once the Serie A campaign wraps up this weekend.

The Aquile are hoping to have the youngster at Tudor’s disposal when they kick off their pre-season preparations at Auronzo Di Cadore. The report also claims the player has a release clause in his contract worth €8 million, which can facilitate the procedure for Lazio. Moreover, his former club Rennes would receive a 40% sell-on fee.

Tchaouna is a left-footed winger who prefers to play on the right side of an attacking trident. He can also operate on the opposite flank or as a centre-forward. This season, he has contributed with six goals and four assists in 36 appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
