Lazio have reportedly added Club Brugge youngster Antonio Nusa to their shortlist of youngsters born in 2005.
Club President Claudio Lotito has recently declared his intention to sign an exciting young teenager, and news reports have been trying to guess the candidates for the role. According to Il Corriere dello Sport (via LazioSpace), Nusa is one of the profiles monitored by Lazio’s Sporting Director Angelo Fabiani.
The 19-year-old was born in Norway of Nigerian heritage. He started his career at Stabæk before signing for Club Brugge in 2021. Last season, he was a regular feature for the Belgian side, contributing with three goals and as many assists in 30 league appearances.
The winger’s contract with Brugge is valid until June 2027. The source adds that the club is seeking €20 million to sell the youngster, but the price can still be negotiated. Nusa is a right-footed player who enjoys playing as an inverted left winger, but can also feature on the right wing or as a second striker.
The Langhus native has represented Norway across all age groups before making his senior international debut in September 2023. Since then, he has collected seven caps, scoring a single goal in the process.
Lazio’s 2005-born shortlist includes the likes of Barcelona’s Vitor Roque, Real Betis’ Assane Diao and Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham.
