Lazio picked up a 3-0 win over AS Roma in the latest installment of the Derby della Capitale with goals from Ciro Immobile and two from Luis Alberto.

Despite the dominant performance from Lazio scoring-wise, the Biancocelesti also ran and moved more than Roma in the win.

According to Lazio Page, Lazio ran 119,073 kilometers with an average speed of 7.2 km/hour. Meanwhile, their capital rival ran 113,115 kilometers, and their average rate was 6.7 km/hour throughout the 90 minutes.

Only Atalanta (120,647 kilometers) in Atalanta-Parma and Inter (120,124 kilometers) in Sassuolo-Inter Milan have run more during the 2020-21 Serie A season.

Luis Alberto’s third goal highlights Lazio’s movement on the pitch. Not only was the moving, but Lazio were tracking back to set up the play and maneuvering to continue pushing the attack.

When it looked as though Roma had a jog to their defending, Lazio was looking to run and perhaps take advantage of a Roma side that lost its breath late in the match.
