Lazio coach Sarri questions whether Ten Hag can handle Man Utd striker Ronaldo

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri feels Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag will struggle to manage Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sarri won the Serie A title as Juventus coach with Ronaldo leading his attack.

Ten Hag has been clear in several interviews that all players must adapt to the team's style of play. Something that has created big question marks around Ronaldo.

Sarri said, "The team had to adapt to him, not the other way around.

"With me he scored 33 goals in the league and four in the Coppa, and in short, it is never easy to convince a champion with such statistics to change his style."
