Serie A giants Lazio are close to sealing a move for Midtjylland star Gustav Isaksen.

Sky Italia have reported that after the vital meeting involving Maurizio Sarri and Claudio Lotito, Lazio are now taking important steps in the transfer window.

They are close to defining the move for Isaksen, who has agreed personal terms with the Roman outfit. Initial contact was established some weeks ago – despite interest from Milan and they are now a step away from sealing a move. There is, in fact, an expectation that the move could close by Monday.

He has agreed to sign a five-year deal and there is an expectation that an agreement with the Danish side could be reached for a fee of 12 million.

In addition to Isaksen, a move has been made for Daichi Kamada, for whom Lazio’s sponsors in Japan – Mizuno, could be willing to help regarding the high wage demands. Maurizio Sarri sees the Japan international as a mezzala.
