Lazio have announced the signing of Pepe Reina on a permanent deal.
The 37-year-old goalkeeper joins from Serie A rivals AC Milan in what is reported to be a two-year-contract.
Reina spent the second half of the 2019/20 season on loan at Aston Villa, helping Dean Smith’s side retain their Premier League status.
Milan confirmed his departure in a statement which read: “AC Milan announces that Josè Manuel Reina Pàez has joined SS Lazio on a permanent deal.
“The club wishes the footballer all the best for the next sporting seasons.”
Reina has won the World Cup, Bundesliga and the European Championships in an illustrious career.
