Lazio already making plans for next summer’s transfer window as well as the upcoming market in January.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, coach Maurizio Sarri, sporting director Igli Tare and president Claudio Lotito have been in close talks drawing up a list of requirements for both the winter window and the next summer’s one.

Regarding the upcoming transfer window, Sarri wants Lazio to sign two key reinforcements – a new backup striker (Bodø/Glimt’s Erik Botheim is currently the favourite) and a left-back (the idea of Marcos Alonso has cropped up). The Biancocelesti will also look to find new homes for a number of redundant players including Denis Vavro, Jony, and Jordan Lukaku.

As for next summer’s transfer window, the objectives are a new goalkeeper, a backup defensive midfielder or regista, a few new centre-backs, and another midfielder – preferably one with some pace.

While it is still early into Sarri’s tenure in Rome, he is already making his demands clear, and hopefully, they are able to be met.
