Lazio has officially made the move to add new signee Mateo Musacchio and the returning Senad Lulic to the team’s UEFA list, the club announced on its official website.
In their place, the club removed both Luiz Felipe and Djavan Anderson. Felipe is out for the season following ankle surgery while Anderson is not deemed to be in Simone Inzaghi’s plans for the remainder of the season.
Musacchio recently made his debut for the team in its Serie A clash against Atalanta. On the other hand, Lulic made his long-awaited return from injury during the team’s Coppa Italia Round of 16 fixture against Parma where he was a second-half substitution.
Both players will now be eligible to feature in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage this season.
Lazio will begin its quest for an unlikely deep run in the tournament when it takes on FC Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 later this month.
